THE CAPS LOCK KEY?

ONCE IN A WHILE MY CAPS LOCK KEY GETS STUCK AND I HAVE TO RESTART FOR IT TO WORK. I TRIED TURNNING IT OFF WITH BOTH THE LAPTOP AND USB KEYBOARDS BUT IT STILL DOES NOT WORK. ANY WAY TO TURN IT OFF WITHOUT RESTARTING?

1. Is it 'Caps lock' or 'Shift lock'?
2. Do you use Jaws? If so, you might need to push it twice in rapid succession.

What's shift lock?
I hit the caps lock key twice and nothing happens. I'm typing and all of a sudden all my letters are capitalized.

Have you tried just exiting and restarting jaws?

That trick works for me from time to time.

It could be jaws even though I can see that the capslock light is on. I can't turn it off without a restart. I may have to be less lazy and restart, especially if I'm writing an English essay.
